Epilogue
On the eve of Autumn's high holiday, the Blackbird Bishop approached a trio of Changelings for reasons unrelated. The simple question of Mitchell Carr's well being was answered bluntly, inspiring Outback and finally a more cautious Yuan to come to the rescue of a shattered mind. Guided by Gavin Graves' magic, Henley unleashed a Spring monsoon upon the unstable veil of the Hedge as they partied through a mad shadow of revelry and suspended spirits, before running through cutting fields of dampened emotion. Deep into the Thorns, Mitch made the vital connections to direct their attention to the beach, where prismatic falls descended from the black spire of a Keeper's domain. Diving deep, the group was stirred to madness in the throes of unrelenting joy and ambition being unleashed in destructive symphony of storm, song and dance. Deals were cut with a mermaid shoal as they beheld their Mother Hydra—a giant hobgoblin referred to as their Trove Guardian that had threaded her influence through a network of sea caves and memory hoards.
Drenched in the afterglow of glamour highs and bedlam, the Fairest was the last to push the envelope too far, and as the group netted a trade deal for a direct connection to the Memory Market the Duke of Zephyr's Bane was tested; prompting the herald of Mitch's Huntsman. Icons in hand and reeling from new anchors, the motley made a mad dash back through the Gate, with Nate and Mitch selling pieces of themselves to the hollow hedge ghosts to guarantee a shortcut from whirling Cold Iron and celestial wrath. With Gavin's control, the chase was delivered into the artillery of Summer, allowing the group to survive the impossible encounter with the skin of their teeth.
