What a wonderful morning it was. He had received word that Riley was onboard, saw the paperwork with his own eyes, and it was off to the races. Much like a practiced montage, it was the same day in and day out in many ways.

He was already making calls and emails during this time. It all starts with a few messages, followed by reaching out to talk with who needs to be talked to, and setting appointments with who didn’t have time to answer on a whim. That was one of the reasons it was rare for the Arch man to eat breakfast in his own home - that was a time to mingle.

Quick stop at that one great bagel place with another
Take a call in his car on the way to his office to gather supplies.
Mostly paperwork at this point. Making sure deals were signed, meeting with anyone of his other clients that needed to be met. Normally he was loosey goosey with the time he would chit chat but he was not leaving this ordeal to chance. There was extra pressure to put things together when it was a fellow Lost, more so when they shared his mantle. Plus Riley deserved this.
Lunch was on the phone, a strategic series of mutes between bites of whatever his secretary had brought. It was a miracle he didn’t spill anything - but even if he did the Wyrd had a way of letting him find a spare in his closet at work.
Finishing his calls, by this point the major clubs were filling up with their staff and managers. Identify the acts, narrow down what's in your range, and figure out who you have to talk too. Not who they say you have to talk too but who you really have to talk too.
Load up your second phone materials only related to this client so you have them on hand. Meant a lot if you never had to dig for demo’s.
The entire time make sure you are complimentary, kind, observant, caring. Make them like you. Sometimes a bit of glamour needed to be applied (but just a little)
Venue to venue. Until it was show time. Go hit up a place where you had someone doing a show if there was one - be present. If nothing, just get a nice meal. Maybe use this time to meet someone special if they were free.
Leave a couple hours to haunt the bars post most shows, they usually came in waves so you could be out for a while. Pacing yourself was key or you would end up slurring at the end of the night. Soda water and cranberry juice was a great way to keep up appearances. Oh and make sure you pick up a few tabs.
Get home, massage your cheeks from wearing a smile pretty much all day, and hit the hay.
