Lotus was not fond of getting into a vehicle with a handful of ex-military, as two individuals negotiate their very existence.
She glances into the vehicle, scanning it for signs of danger before speaking up on the pair's behalf.
"We will only join you if you promise this isn't a trap"
It was a small precaution.

Lotus notes a firearm in the seat of the passenger's side, likely for Blaze's copy to arm herself with. The driver was watching them sharply, his left hand off the wheel and hidden behind the door. His clothing also fit in such a manner that she recognized an armoured vest underneath.
Sofia's expression pinched at the Wizened's offer, "Why would we want you to join us? We want you to keep as much distance as possible, and if you threaten any of us I'll make sure to blow past your shell and spray that wax all over the pavement."

Although Blaze and Lotus weren't exactly outmanned, they were certainly in the disadvantageous position of having to mind what amounted to a hostage situation. One wrong move and they'll end up in the back of a squad car, if not worse... and letting law enforcement loose on her clone could also get out of hand quickly. They needed to get somewhere less visible. Get the clone to let its guard down.
"So far the only one making threats is you. We could talk like civilized people, without guns and with our hands visible... or you can start shooting. But with this many cameras and armed guards around, you'd have to ask yourself one question: do I feel lucky?"
She squints at the clone like this is a Spaghetti Western and they're about to do a duel at high noon.
"Well, do you, punk?"

As Sofia spoke, the Wizened greeted Geoff, expressing grief at the unfortunate circumstances that had everyone's hackles up. At least Sofia didn't appear to be armed, given the weapon currently being inside the vehicle. Her Mask was blessed where everything sounded genuine, and then she asked a question.
"I do," Sofia explained as Eve slid into the vehicle. "I banked on the fact that you wouldn't try anything with this much heat. We're going to be going now, and you're going to keep your distance. Unless you have a stark revelation that will flip this whole thing on its head?-"
Sofia's lip curled as Lotus babbled something incoherent, and seeing Geoff cocked an eyebrow, repeated herself to tumble the riddle together. "What happens when the stars ask for the lights out?"
"What are you trying to do?" the clone demanded, cutting the Wizened off.
The Wizened danced back, showing her hands and showing no signs of boiling frustration as Geoff continued to be a brick to the cascading secrets of the Horde. Fine, she would have to get mean.
"Can you please inform Geoff that he should escort Eve to safety?" Lotus pointedly asked Blaze. The fractals of broken promises around Sofia's career as a military operative had crystalized over the woman's eyes, like Nehelenia's shard sending an icepick of Winter's vengeance through her psyche. Sofia wiped accumulating sweat from pale her face, groaning into her hands.

Blaze fishes in her pocket to find an old receipt. Channeling all the quiet rage she feels at the whole situation, threatening the peace of a person important to her and trying to steal her own life by this mirror clone she tears it up into tiny pieces with slow, deliberate movements, focusing on the driver. The magic swirls around her and the man's eyes widens. He pushed on the pedal and with a screech of tires the car drove away. It was a crude solution, but the best given the circumstances.
The Elemental turns towards her copy.
"You." She says "We're going for a ride."
She plans to grab her and push her into the car to go out in the desert, somewhere where the lights of the city don't reach. There, among all the buried mafiosos, she will make the clone dig a hole and then she will permanently get rid of the problem the only way she knows how.
