Aster listened granting a nod. The skin was a tapestry, after all, and Aster's definitely spoke of her history.

"Some of the stories I even remember," she quipped with a grin, though part of it seemed force.

Some I'd like to forget.

As the Wizened excused herself, Aster did little else beyond giving a thumbs up.

"Go nuts," she said, raising her water in time with the toast.

The Wizened nodded, picking up her glass to go and explore the party. She briefly paused, glancing to Aster.

"Maybe see you out there."

With that, Lotus stepped away from the bar.

The half-invitation elicited a small smile from the Viper, who offered a noncommittal shrug.

"Maybe."

Aster would watch Eater depart, but the gaze was soon stolen by the arrival of the new Winter King.
