Location and physical space was only imagined here. Thus, the Elementals' consciousness is bent and slid along the boundaries of a brief world that spreads across the domain like a web. No soldiers or doomsday preppers—eidolons revealed themselves, disquieting Blaze with the sheer wasteland they were confronted with. Then the screech of violent strings and layered harmonies, split across fractured layers; with Blaze receiving a vision of reality cracking like a shattered mirror, tearing reality limb from limb as meat sloughs and slides along the fault lines. Oren had some memory if it: with Kai rolling back time because they had been turned into human salsa that one time, and the frustrating lack of materials to work with as they hammered at a sandblasted concept of Self.

It was sound made solid. A harmonic convergence shaped in the form of a flowering spear. Dust and sand, scattered to an impossible wind, rose and wavered on a resonant band no waking mind could hear.
Sharp and dissonant, like the demesne coating his dream-skin like sweat, Oren shaved and sanded the world with only his voice. His body reflected a myriad choir. A semitone for every shard. A thousand keys for a thousand tiny fraying locks. He wasn't trying to quiet, nor would he be gentle. He offered a dirge, and the path those that would march behind him--to him--into the halls of the Bastion.
He had to fight a giant nightmare spider to get here. Frankly, he had grown bored of subtlety.
He left room for Blaze to harmonize. But he did not need her to sing. "Gather our friends, would you? Make them see reason," his normal voice cut through the glass menagerie.
The eidolons were sure to be upon them. He could, at least, savor a few precious minutes of Fawkes' subconscious grace.
