Between two Fairests, the team really had everything they could have asked for.
The Wyrd-bound gang of the Mastermind's Gambit barreled through the backstreets of the neighbourhood, targeting the address with a hail of autofire and a well placed Molotov. The chaos that erupted among the screams and fleeing bodies, Victor flickered into memory only long enough to take his shot from the fleeing target. The Spirit of the Hunt guided his hand with an uncanny focus, punching through the back of woman's chest as the leather-bound Fairest surged from behind his cover to retrieve his own trophy.
Lifting her from the scene, he booked it down alleyways and an empty concrete maze before he unceremoniously tossed the body to cool in a dumpster. Eis eventually dinged his phone, exasperated over his current location, and finally spitting out that he needed to help with cleanup. As cascade of leaves heralded the She-Wolf as she found him, indicating that she would provide him with the runner's head once his business was done at the pool. An axe was handed for his Rite participation, placing it in a plastic sack that did not threaten to leak, and he left her to do whatever she was going to do with the scene of the dumpster. Eis and Oren had already unloaded his equipment once he rejoined them, and while the Mirrorskin offered to help, Eis didn't bother to hide her distaste and relief when he Fairest brushed off their need for involvement. That was until he mentioned with an apologetic frown that dismemberment made the whole business easier. Not particularly bothered by what he beheld, another flash of glamour allowed Victor to move outside of the rules of time as he blurred across the killing ground. The arranged corpses were tended to by Eis and Oren, with sharp tools for dark deeds as the Snowskin silently wondered if her Contract would always be handing her instruments of death. Either way, Oren seemed pleased with his assistance to Fall — team building exercises always brought him closer to people after all, even if the night lacked the highs of an exciting ballad.
Heads in the bag and the night coming to an end, the hunting party returned to the gathering to complete the ritual.
