Sweeping from arm to neck, the black ice met tendon and bone, burning a trench through the cartilage like it was wet clay.
Bonnie's answer drained with life and colour, seizing as she hit the rocks of the shallow red-soaked creek. Her limbs kicked in a final spike as she clawed to exist, against the dark waters spilling across the wounds and taking her light.
King Samedi's mask was haloed in red and shadow with the sweeping night. He dismissed Court with finality, stepping back with the Winter King as Felicity Stone blinked back to herself, wiping an errant tear as she looked out to Rowan. The shroud beyond the trees receded with the parting of Fall, though the Knight of the Dying Light advanced and met the She-Wolf, holding her hand as she choked her tears and surged towards Bonnie. Benjamin Murphy was terse, speaking with Dormarch as the Squire seemed more invested on making sure Icarus didn't collapse, anxious glances dancing between the mix and shocked emotions.
Icarus was mostly passed around, trying to maintain some semblance of professionalism while blind and cut open as he leaned on Dormarch and called Rowan away. The Knight of Lores would take care of her own, keeping her focus on gently lifting the Gravewight from the water as Ben gave the forced executioner a curt, pained nod.
The Oracle wasn't sure or even interested if it would help or make Rowan feel worse, but the chaos that followed the Snowskin didn't undue that they survived the Fae together, an potentially saved the Freehold for it.

Bonnie's parting curse - an impossible riddle.
What had she said?
Rowan stood up straight, all six feet of him, and looked around. "I'm done." He surveyed the woods, as if daring anyone to come forward and say something. His feet were freezing, but his hands and mouth were on fire. Pupils dilated, breaths heavy, he tasted metal and brine on his lips. Courtiers and Nobles shuffled around in grief. He forced himself to watch, to take it all in. This was his legacy.
Icarus called to him and he followed.
He bet his Keeper must be having a field day right now.
