Well now that's the real question, isn't it? Because in terms of dollars and time, this is costing Wayland fairly little. Melt the silver, shape a mold, pour the coins into the mold. She doesn't even have to put a fancy design on it. (Though she might anyway. Artistic license.) But on the other, there's some kind of experimental ritual involved, from what Rowan's saying. Something she's made, and it's evidently important that it be minted by her hands, used for some occult purpose he can't talk about. That's a little bit more than just pouring some coins.
She watches him with a pensive, measuring expression for a moment as she thinks these thoughts. Then replies, "How about a favor? You can't tell me what these are for, so in the future I can do what you're doing; ask for your help with something without explaining why upfront."

Bargains? This was something he could work with. Money would have been easier, but he wasn't deterred. Tapping his nose, Rowan thought over the proposition for a little while.
"Two things. I can refuse if your request would make be break an Oath, and I can refuse if I think your request will hurt my Court. I will, of course, explain my thought process."
He had learned the hard way to place boundaries on terms. If it hadn't been for Kai, the Wyrd only knows how the Hags would have swindled them. The Darkling doubted that Wayland would try to get the better of him, but better safe than sorry. He waited patiently, giving the Ogre the space she needed to consider his terms.

The Ogre’s eyes narrow slightly as she thinks these terms through. If he’s not going to assume her best intentions, well, turnabout is fair play.
“Can you reciprocate those terms? Promise me that whatever you use those coins for, it won’t compromise an oath of mine, and that you honestly don’t think it’ll hurt my court?” She asks, one eyebrow arching up with the inquiry.
“If so, and if you can promise that you won’t make an oath just to screw me out of the favor you owe me, then we have an agreement.”

Smart.
"I'm trying to show people I'm doing better. Swindling you out of a favour would be a horrible way to do that, no?"
"But yes, I can reciprocate. The experiment is small in scale, and it'll only affect me."
He nodded in agreement to the terms. For a Summer, Wayland seemed pretty level-headed. It was refreshing.
"Looks like the business is concluded," he said as he pushed the spoons over to the Ogre, "but I'm in no hurry. I mean, we're already at a dive, so we might as well enjoy it."

Wayland nods slightly as she feels the gentle tug of the wyrd acknowledging their arrangement. She has no plans in particular about the favor Rowan owes her, but she's certain that there'll be something down the line that he'll be able to help with.
She takes the spoons as he remarks about the bar, one eyebrow arching up slightly. Rowan didn't explicitly request or invite her to stay. But that was a pretty big hint at it. "I can hang out for a bit," she offers with a shrug, and then her lips curl with mild mischief, "But does anybody ever really enjoy a dive?"
