Wayland listens, watching Riley's face as they talk about the other Freeholders. There's a sensation of a deep, chronic ache finally feeling just the slightest measure of relief in the pit of her gut. She ignores it. "Yeah, that's about how I'd imagined Linden," she responds at the description of the Ogre, satisfied that she'd gotten a fair read on them, a small smile curling her lips. As Riley moves on to Rowan, she tilts her head, "Hmm. I'll keep that in mind." The smile that comes over Riley's face when they talk about Fire is telling. "Good to know," Wayland responds, Riley's infectious emotes again creating a response in kind. "She seems a little..." Her nose scrunches slightly while she searches for the right word, "Intense? But nice. She made the introduction, when I met her and Rowan." She glances back to the jewelry. She'd noticed Riley going over the necklaces earlier, and reaches out to finger one of the spikes of a particular piece. "I like this one for you. What d'you think? Is it your style?"

“Yeah she can be a bit of spitfire, if she gets going” The moth chuckled a bit thinking about how fast Fire could talk when nervous or excited.
“It can be a bit much for some. How she and Rowan friends is beyond me.” Riley laughed. That relationship was a mystery, how Rowan could handle her, or how she could have the patience for him.
Their eyes widen at the necklace that Wayland pulls out. They flutter closer with a shuffle of a step to examine the particular piece.
“Holy shit that's pretty.” Riley blinked a few times. Wayland had an eye that was for sure.
“ Oh yeah I could rock this.” This might go well with their Ostara look. “How much?”

Wayland calculates the cost in her head, the value of the silver plus her time. And immediately knocks a quarter of the price away as a friendly discount. That would leave her in the black on that item, though not by much. She'd knock off half if she could. "Cash?" She asks as if to confirm. There are other ways Changelings can pay each other, after all.
"I'll give you a discount. Three hundred. You can pay in installments if that's too much all at once." Not that she's eager to have Riley feel too indebted to her. She's been working on what she needs to call in Riley's other payment, but she's not ready yet.

"Ah'ite make it four hundred and you have a deal" The moth says with a stupid smile. They fish into their side bag, pulling out a small wallet. Pulling out some one hundred in twenties, before passing it to Wayland. It was one thing Riley had appreciated about their former job, no shortage of cash.
"One hundred, and I'll get you the rest before Ostara, deal?" The Moth says holding out a hand to the Ogre.

Wayland reaches one hand up to rub the back of her neck sheepishly, the attitude coming across on her face too. Not thrilled about Riley promising full price, but not seeing a way out without taking a chance on offending the moth. "Alright," she says reluctantly, plucking the bills out of Riley's hand.
"I hope you don't haggle like that in the Goblin Market," she adds under her breath. Tucking the money into her pocket, she gestures towards the necklace. "I can put it in a box, unless you'd like to wear it out."

The Darkling catching the Ogres hushed warning, gave a smile and a playful wink.
"I'll take the box, thanks"

Wayland pulls a simple cream-colored jewelry box out of a drawer, the bottom lined with felt, and transfers the necklace in, along with some soft paper to keep everything stable. She closes up and passes it to Riley, smile dimpling her cheeks again.
"Well, there you go. It's been nice seeing you, Riley."
Maybe next time they meet it won't involve work. Wayland wants to say those words, but something makes her swallow them.
"See you at Ostara. Unless we bump into each other before then."
